5) Checked Available Memory: 46MB
6) Batt pull(took about 2.5 minutes)
7) Restored with backup
8) Checked Available Memory: 48MB
9) Batt pull(took less than 1 minute)
10) Available Memory: 49.2MB
Total Process: Approximately 20 minutes.
First findings:
-Number pad in phone is back, which .114 had issues with
-Phone quality seems better
-Browsing speed and typing in browser is faster(scrolling is faster as well with less clipping)
-Accelerometer is not only instantaneous, but smarter with angles.
-Touch sensitivity and scrolling is more fluid and precise.
-All apps are responding faster
-Screen switching from one program to the next is instantaneous(given some fade)
-New copy and paste is same as .114
-MMS Messages still having an issue it seems when sending an image that wasn't created by the phone(camera)
-Music and Video play fine, responds quickly and still great quality
Granted, this is only 20 minutes after it's been installed, but we'll see how it goes...
One thing I just noticed... after going through all these tests, my Free App Memory went up to 50.5MB... Interesting?
So far... VERY good... Good luck all! |
How do you get your free app memory sooooo high?? Do you have any 3rd party apps installed? If so please list them ALL
thanks

Thanks for the help everyone.. Last question.. got the shared folder now, and I have the java and cdma folder sitting on my desktop. When I go into the shared folder, there is a JAVA, a CDMA, and a bunch of ALX files.. Should I delete everything out of the folder? Or just replace the CDMA and JAVA fodlers? Thank you all!

thanks | After I just installed a few apps, AIM, MSN, Yahoo, Facebook, Myspace, Visual Voicemail, and a few games, even with my work e-mail, personal work e-mail and my personal gmail account, all containing data from early Feb., and my MMS/SMS messages from early January, I currently am running at 46.9MB Free App Memory.
That's about normal... But why it went up last time after performing all the tests I made? I'm not really sure... that's something I'll have to play with a bit more and try to figure out.
I dont do anything special, just try to keep it clean...

Do a search for 9500M_PBr4.7.0_rel161_PL4.0.0.144_A4.7.0.113.exe
Some folk here have download links in their sig.

| | Verizon Sucks
I just talked to Verizon and the tech talked to his manager for me. Said the manager couldn't say more then the software was still "in testing" testing for what? If it works on the device for one carrier whats stopping me from getting an official verizon release? Maybe its just all the waiting getting to me but im upset. Not that im not willing to spend the time for.122 but i really feel like i shouldnt have to. I pay my bill, now where's my support?
