Thumbs up Been using .167 for a day now

So I upgraded to 4.7.167 yesterday from .148
First things I noticed was the transitions were smoother and color banding was gone. I was very excited with how smooth and quick the storm was performing. The upgrade went smooth except my emails didnt back up for some reason but other wise no big deal.

So thus far my memory is 10mb higher then one .148 and it actually climbed throughout the day. All my apps are working fine including Slacker, Pandora, Facebook, Quicklaunch and BBM 5.0. ( I have more apps)

My signal has been solid at full bars every since the upgrade. Using .148 it would alternate between no bars and full bars.

My internet browsing has been fast as with going through the menus and messaging.

BBM 5.0 has worked great so far and I use it alot all day. The interface is nice and all the features are working.

So far I love it, I love the speed, the smoothness and the quickness and memory recovery. I have no complaints. This makes me excited to see how good future build will be but its gonna be hard to get me to switch from this.

Its impossible to go back to 4.7 from 5.0 based off of speed.

Right, I dont care too much about how much memory but that it recovers and stays up; which is exactly what .167 does. It doesnt drop below 27mb for me and will recover up to 32mb

and NO BBM 5.0 did not come with the OS, I downloaded it OTA

OS 5.0.0.191

And also, 151 was compatible with FB, slacker, pandora, etc.

It just wasn't compatible with all themes.

see that thing at the bottom right that says quote? thats a single quote.
the one right next door looks like quotation marks with a plus sign..... thats the multi quote. just click on each post that you want to quote, then at the bottom left just after the last post click "post reply". when the next window comes up just put your own text after the appropriate quote.

When I first created my CB account, in some post, somewhere I said that I didn't see myself having my Storm in a year. That time has come. Not only that but I no longer own any BlackBerry devices at all. Maybe in the future if RIM steps up their game I'll consider owning one again, but as it is right now, they just aren't competitive in the user market, and they never really have been. Theyre good at what they do, which is push E-mail but that's about it. Time will tell.

I would recommend .167 to anyone who doesn't want to go to OS5.0. Even if they do use theme, get rid of themes since it causes issues anyways or slows down your phone. Get rid of themes and go to .167.

.151 did not work with slacker or pandora. Yes they ran....but it locked up and required a phone reset. If you listen to at all frequently it was basically unusable....I tried for a long while before just admitting .151 and pandora was just unusable for me.
