There is a company that most Metro PCS centers use to flash, out of network phones. They are called Houdini Soft, they prob already have a Flash...

i work for metro pcs..the software they use is houdini soft. NO blackberry will work and No other apps will work once you flash the phone. So no internet no picture messaging no gps etc..all it will do is call out and make texts. Why flash a blackberry and not be able to use all the features?! theres absolutly no point at all! however metro pcs will soon have the blackberry curve 8330 for sale and it will be 450 dollars! metro pcs service sucks though i work for the complany and i still have verizon!!

I do not understand why you would want a BB without all the features. It does not make any sense to me as well.

He is correct, however there are some loopholes, the problem is if its not a Metro PIN, rumor has it that the data and MMS capabilities will not work, thats what I been told at least

Well to straighten things out, its not about it working. We know it will work, the question is having full functionality, i.e. BBM, BIS, and WAP. At the very least you can get phone and text, but on a blackberry that is worthless. Might as well get a razr if all you want is voice and text.
