Question Battery Problems??

Storm 9530..can a faulty usb that shorts destroy my battery...the battery doesnt last long n dies very quickly..and another issue iz that when the phone is on 5% the radio is still turned on and doest cut off till like 1 r 2%..and when a charger is placed in the phone it doesnt charge the battery

Original batteries usually die very quickly, try extended batteries to increase the battery life. For instance for Storm 9530 there is 3000mAh: [HLI-9500XL]

Very possible you ended up killing it. There's circuitry in the battery to protect it from overcharge, but a short I doubt it could save it from. Extended batteries are nice, but considering the bulk a Storm has, you might be happier with a couple OEM instead. They're usually pretty cheap. Just picked up a J-M1 off Amazon for less than $10, including shipping, for my new 9930. There are plug in chargers to be found for $4, that will work any chargeable battery.
