Am I the Only One? (.122)

Who has been having problems with random resets on .122? Its shuts off in my holster at least twice a day...and I mean shuts off. The only way to turn it back on is to pull the battery. Earlier today it happened again, so i take it out and pull the batt....put it down while I gather my stuff to go home and what do I see?....it randomly rebooted again!

Ive already done a wipe and reloaded it again and the problem still persists. Wtf! Theres new problems with every OS for me. How much longer goddammit!

It happened to me when I had .131 java over .122 and if I did BBM and Opera mini at the same time, then I got reboots. I will watch .122 closely because I hate random reboots.

I didn't have any reboots with .122, but I experienced a lot of lag with it so I'm running the 5.0 hybrid with great results.

Maybe its your phone dude. I've tried 5 different leaks and all 5 worked fine except for different memory numbers/battery life.

I don't use a holster. I know there have been many threads about people having trouble with their holsters causing problems.

Same here...im thinking apps and themes are the culprit

Was back on .122 before .131 dropped and thought I'd try experimenting with some themes.....ohhh man was i in for a ride. My phone after only an hour or so became the most sluggish, unresponsive mess ever. I was ready to kill the damn thing...

When the dust settled and I got home, I started thinking, and the only thing I had changed recently was applying some themes. Went back to the original theme, batt pull, bam. No problems ever since. Java just may be much harder to manage than some people realize and not every coder out there is up to par. Be careful what you run on your phone.

I really hope its not my phone. This is my 4th replacement and it actually clicks decently...and the chances of getting another good one are slim. I ran the 5.0 hybrid before this and experienced MAJOR lag throughout everything as well as the reboots, so i decided to just wipe and go straight .122. None of this ever happened with .113. Maybe I should just go back.

That exact same thing happened to me. I sometimes load themes on to my phone just to see how they look, but I never primarily use them. Turned out it made my phone SUPER sluggish. It was incredibly bad. Its better now but it still reboots.

That's what I would do. These OS are all a step up from .75 but in the end it all comes down to what works BEST on YOUR phone.

I agree with King. Sounds like a theme or an app. I have a holster & I've run 10 different OS's & hybrids. The only problem I had with reboots & .122 is with the camera. I used CrackUtil & loaded the .114 phone program & it's all better.

1. 1st & foremost.....don't use Weatherbug. I had huge issues with WB on multiple versions of code.
2. Delete old/unused themes. Lots of themes I tried were buggy.
3. Delete VZ unused apps like VAD, Vcast, Navigation (use google) BB help, all languages outside of English.

That should help free memory & hopefully fix the issue.

Ive done em all. Havent even installed any themes or anything of the sort after this wipe. I do have weatherbug installed though...

But still, i didnt have it before and it still rebooted.

I think you're all on to something. My phone runs like a thorough bread on the original theme. It's too bad...because there's some very talented people out there making some really cool themes. They just totally bog down my phone.
BTW, I'm on .132

I've found that many 3rd party themes make my phone uber sluggish as well. I've bought a few, but I almost always go back to using the Precision Zen theme because it's the fastest.

I'm having reboots with .122, but mine only does it while trying to take pictures. i have had 2 phones and both had issues on.75 taking pictures. Now with .122 i can actually get nice pictures, but it will randomly reboot when i press the button to snap a picture. Anyone else seeing reboots while taking pictures?
