When running .148, I had the Android Slider theme. Now that I've installed .151, I can't access all of my icons. When I press the BB button, it no longer shows my entire list, just gives me the home screen option menu.

That means I can't get to my options to set a different theme. I tried landscape mode, but it's slow to transition and is very screwy. I then figured I would just hide all of my icons until options showed. It takes a long time for that menu to show, and most of the time, I end up getting an app error and being forced to reboot.

Do I have any recourse other than reinstalling .148? Is there a backdoor way to get into options?

E: I did see on another thread about removing the theme with app loader, so I'm giving that a shot.

alternatively, if you do a battery pull and hold down the escape button, the phone will boot into safe mode.

The theme issue with 151 is very well documented.

this might be an obvious question but -

I downloaded and installed .151 .. connected the blackberry.. disconnected from the internet and ran DM.. It said there were no available updates for the BB.. usually i get a pop-up right away saying that there is an update available - got no such msg. Inside apploader it says there are no updates required.

any ideas?

i get an error message saying the device does not have sufficient storage space to accomodate your selections please select fewer optional applications.....wtf does this mean

I obviously didn't see it when I didn't look through every page of the 51 page thread. I saw it when I went to the themes forum.

I downloaded the file and installed it on my PC but when i open up DM it doesn't indicate that there is a software update available...am i doing something wrong? How can i find the update on my computer? HELP!!

um.. this isn't really a leak... at least not from my experience...

I had my storm swappede out twice... thats rite... im on my 3rd friken storm from Verizon -_-;

Anyway on the 3rd time I got the ...151 OS.. I thought this was a normal thing for everyone.. I should've known since the desktop manager kept trying to update the software to .148 but if isn't an official version yet it will be real soon.

No lie... (i have no reason to... this OS came straight to me from verizon.
PS THEY FINALLY FIXED THE #&%(!&#%&!#% FLIPCLOCK!!!!!!!!!!!!! HALELUHIAH

ppppppps: if you need proof ask.. I have a shipping receipt for my old storm from 6/26 (a week after I got the new one)

Umm yes this really is a leak. the reason you have it on your phone is because someone updated to the leak then sent the phone back and you got their refurb. Vzw has nothing to do with it

I downloaded DM 5 - then downloaded the new OS. . open OS and run file. Open up DM and the new OS isn't there.

Any advice?

I deleted the Vendor xml file. . . nothing still. . deleted then ran new OS file... nothing.

tried Application loader found where the XML file is located... nothing.
