Do I just replace the entire Java folder or do I have to copy it into the existing 871 folder?

copy the java folder supplied and past it into your 9530Chinese_Lean_v5.0.0.871_P4.2.0.389. it will replace the old java folder. then run apploader and install.

then shrink....i recommend your shrink out what you don't need.

just copy the java folder provided and replace the java you already have. except all file replacements.

Do not delete the current java. just paste new one over it!

Did a clean install. Couldn't sync with DM6 until I did a battery pull. Memory was funky after each battery pull (43Mb, 40Mb, 34Mb). Brickbreaker doesn't work:

net_rim_device_apps_games_brickbreaker: Class 'net.rim.device.api.games.classification.Classific ationTag' not found.

dont know why anyone still plays that game but anywho. simple fix is to re inject the old .871 brickbreaker cod using bbsak

CAN ANYONE ELSE CONFIRM THE SAME PROBLEM?

Ive ran the whole Java on my phone for a week to check for bugs and found none. then i shrunk it down.

OK, the procedure is to delete the 2 brickbreaker files in the Java folder and then use the repair function from 871. If you don't delete the cod files, the repair won't overwrite them because they are the same name and newer. Then I used BBSAK to delete the cods on the phone and install the older ones I just added back to the Java folder. Of course, if you already did a data restore, you will have to do it again if you want to get your high score back.

So are you just supposed to change the .rar to .exe to get this hybrid to load? Having a hard time with this any help would be appreciated

No rar is like zip, just double click and WinZip or equivalent will open and just extract to the OS folder.
