It also helps to be patient and not moan and groan. Hey I press F5 everyday as much as the 9530 users, except being a 9500 users we seem to be more relaxed. This seems to work with rgetting things and they tell me good things finally do come to those who wait

I didn't delete vendor.xml & started downloading. will it affect the upgrade?
thanks guys

Thumbs up

yes, just upgraded to .113 from .78!
pros:
full qwerty keyboard on portrait mode,
faster & more responsive than my previous version,
camera is much faster & visible beneath the bottom bar
dialing numbers is faster & phone app is improved
lock/unlock is just a matter of a second

cons:
video player still has lag; the forward-rewind bar is ineffective. unable to play video through youtube app.
picture still taking same time to load.
browsing is same to me.

this is what I found so far!

4.7.0.114. is for the 9530 and 4.7.0.113 is for the 9500, there was never a 4.7.0.114 for the 9500 i believe?

may be wrong. i have put 113 on my 9500 and all looks good so far.

There is alot of people downloading this file so the sever isn't down it's probably under a little strain. The same thing happened to me just try again. Good Luck

I upgraded from .109 to .113, findings so far :

Same enhanced editing as mentioned in the leaked .114 (I like this!)
Picture taking is definitely faster for the first time according to me (still not a fan of the camera though)
Typing speed seems the same (guess I had the best settings already)
Locking and unlocking seems better. 2-3 Seconds to lock (without touching the screen), and less than a second to unlock.
Accelerometer seems fairly good too, it 'could' be faster than .109.

Memory does seem better ... for now. After the upgrade my memory was sitting at only 19Mb. After a battery pull it was 38.7Mb, I opened Facebook and got status updates, read and responded to 2 emails, updated my weather on Weatherbug, opened the calendar, scrolled through and looked at some future entries, opened Viigo and read some RSS feeds and even played 2 video clips ( 1 is a 1 hour TV series ) for a few minutes on the player - Memory still 38.7Mb! . I will keep an eye on this and feedback if it changes as all tests were done within 10-15 minutes.

The forward/rewind bar works fine with mine. If you are talking about the search bar. You've always had to sort of double click it to go to where you wanted. The first click activates the search bar and just touching the screen moves the search bar through the video clip, displaying the location (time) of the area you are scrolling through on the left. I guess so that you can decide if you want to watch from there or relocate it before actually playing from that point. Once you find the correct location, you click on the bar again and it will play from there.
