I am Australia and I have a 9500 at least that is what the about screen tells me.

However etched on the back of my storm it says.
Qualcomm 3G CDMA

So does that mean my 9500 which I thought did not have CDMA radio in it really does and there is no difference in mine and a 9530?

Wonder what would happen if I loaded 9530 code on it?

I think that even if you technically might be able to load it on there, and get it to work you will not be able to use it as your mobile operator does not have a CDMA, for more info have a look here
