- Work Closely with Carriers to get 5.0 through their test labs and address any and all issues they identify
- Create a launch event, or at least some sort of PR Announcement
- Make sure that when the announcement drops, the Carriers of Devices ready for 5.0 (9630, 9530/9500, 9000, 8900 etc.) are ready to release 5.0 upgrades within 30-60 days of announcement and that those dates are part of the announcements.
Call me naive but I have some faith that RIM is planning to do this the right way, and that is why the leaks are locked down. | I tend to agree with some of your comments. RIM need to up the game plan. The marketing behind the Storm has created expectations way beyond capability leaving a few dissappointed users. If not for Crackberry and BlackberrOs and similar web sites a paper weight would be in the making. Get on with it guys!
