5.0.0.402 for 9500 Findings/Fixes
Downloading it as we speak, I decided to open this to see what other ppl have found about this. I currently got the 5.0.0.328.

Seems fast, Boots at 41mb & quicker than .328.
Running facebook, captureit, orientation lock, bbm5, Google Maps, MSN.
Had one problem straight after install. When downloading OTA apps would halt download and drop BIS, until I went from browser to BB menu. Seems to have disappeared with a battery pull though.
Images appear pixilated poor quality when viewing from media folder.
Playing video volume adjustment only works when it wants to (1/5ish times). Had the same problem with 0.328. Buttons not faulty works perfect adjusting volume during calls. - 12-05-2009, 01:28 AM #6
You can't shut the 9530 guys up about an OS but the 9500 OS guys are CIA or something.

Fast screen transitions
Running: Facebook Youtube Weatherbug Opera Mini Flikr
Memory High
BBM5 Working properly
Camera seems quicker and a shade higher quality
Cant get Application Centre working (Australia)
Basically, a more complete .328 here. Slightly faster again, slightly less buggy and screen dimming has been fixed.9700 - O.S 6 - 12-05-2009, 05:48 AM #13
in my case it is working very nicely, even got Dutch and Portuguese languages up and going (by copying language related files from 328/405 hybrid java folder to the 402 java folder).
don't forget to reboot a few times, normally little problems disappear.

Most of the annoying bugs seem to have been polished away.
Media player doesn't mute automatically anymore when switching songs.
If you press back while watching a video without stopping it first, it doesn't hang anymore.
In the alarm, the on/off/weekdays is not rotary anymore (if you go down after "off" it doesn't go back to "on"), which used to be annoying as it was tricky to make it stop where you exactly wanted.
Coverage seems also better. I have very bad cellphone coverage at home, used to never get more than 2 bars (3 when lucky) and used to have many areas with no coverage at all. Now i seem to have at least 3 bars everywhere.
And in overall, it feels more fluid.
Until now, it's a winner for me

things I've noticed so far
Keyboard Ghosting/Letters popping up
"blue glow" around keyboard letters more prominent and larger
transitions are faster
flick scrolling seems to have improved
editing text/cut and paste has been improved, a lot less jumping about now
radio more stable, doesnt keep dropping as much
music player improved some more
Thumbnails in photo library seem to be lower quality
Application Centre still isn't working
Might just be me but in all OS 5.0 leaks there's browser issues with some pages only showing up as html code such as Vodafone live
