I am still using an S1 running .328. Have had no problems with it so have not loaded anything else. I see no point in changing it unless you just have time on your hands...

419 is a much better OS for Storm, it adds pop up keys when typing, fixes the broken homescreen icon, and runs much smoother. 320/328 should have never been released, but VZW was rushed to get them out the door. Upgrade to a much better BB experience!

The main thing that killed .328 for me was Pandora worked like trash....a few songs and then choppy un-listenable garbage.

For the most part it was decent and newer OS didn't have any huge improvements....some of the later Chinese leaks had some massive issues.

Their is a .724 official from China Telecom that is solid and stable

I believe that is the highest official build for the 9530 available...there are a few higher leaks.

.419 was no good for me mainly because while typing in the browser the virtual keyboard would randomly vanish...I know some hybrids fixed this on that build.

I am in a similar situation. I upgraded from my S1 a year and half ago. I used my Storm a few times overseas running a Lyr .436 hybrid and had no problems. I gave the phone to my sister who knows nothing of loading OS's and she says it is really laggy and the phone had a huge delay when hitting keys. I am not sure what caused it. I did a factory reset when I gave it to her.

Is loading the .724 a good option for a normal person wanting a stable os? I need something very stable and easy I have been reading how to load an OS as I have forgotten LOL

Thanks

In my experience yes.

.724 is the best most stable Official release.
