.230 feature missing?
i just uploaded .230 and when i connect it to my comp usb i only get blackberry2 drive (media card) to pop up...back in 4.7 os i can usually go into my device and media card when i enable mass media storage...any advice?

I've had a similar issue where I couldnt load anything onto the "blackberry2",which is my media card, on .151. I ran that program and it fixed the issue. After loading .230 onto my phone, I had the same issue your having. Only blackberry2 (media card) shows in my explorer window. And while loading videos one got corrupted and screwed my media card. After I reformatted it and ran that program again, I was back to just the media card showing up. However, I connected to DM last night to backup and all of a sudden "blackberry1" and blackberry2" now show up in the explorer window.
Wierd issue, as stated in another thread this is an issue with the .230 OS. Hopefully gets fixed with the official update. - 10-09-2009, 04:35 PM #5 No problem with media card, but as far as 1 drive showing up, the same thing happened to me, but I never made the connection with backing up with Dm. After doing a reboot after deleting bolt a couple days later, I was back to seeing 1 drive. And after reading your post, I did another backup with Dm and I am seeing both drives again. So I guess people doing backups every day don't see the problem. I always make sure I have a backup that I can use and don't bother again unless I do something new or different that I want to save.

seems .230 is causing some driver issues. had this issue too. reinstalling DM with the new drivers fixed it for me
What ever happened to swipe up for keyboard? I miss that

i hear you on that. i use google sync for my contacts and calender ota ever since my desktop got a virus when i used dm to sync with yahoo. the only reason i use dm now is to sync my itunes through media sync. which i had to do again when i reformatted my media card. i would have never found this accidental "fix" otherwise. go figure

Opened Dm and let it check my device, (no backup), disconnected then reconnected my phone and now see blackberry1 and blackberry2 on the computer. - 10-09-2009, 06:15 PM #10 well the thread is up toward the top of the forum already. i dont think we need another thread with the same info. itll just get lost amongst all the other useless threads started by folks who cant take the time to search.(how i found this thread). maybe the mods can just add "with fix" or something to the title of this thread.
