Default .132 Phone will not charge with wall charger

I just upgraded to .132 the night it came out. Since then I noticed that my battery life was terrible. When taking a look at it after a second day, it appears the wall charger will no longer charge the phone. I can plug it in and it states that it is charging, but when i wake up the next morning and take it off the charger, it shows the exact same battery life as when I went to bed. My phone charger in my car works just fine though to recharge the phone. I haven't noticed if the USB charger works to recharge the phone or not because I rarely use it.

Is anyone else having this problem?

yes, I had the same problem this morning in fact. I had to wiggle the charger a bit to get it to charge, but when I plug it into a USB and car charger it does fine. I don't know if it is coincdence that we both are having this issue as a result of upgrading the phone or if both our chargers have gone bad lol.

If that's true, how come I don't have it?

Plugged mine in last night, it charged just fine. Battery appears to be discharging the same as every other OS system I've installed.

Not everyone will have the same "bugs" show up. Different phones may react differently to the same upgrades.

yeah, that must be the case for me. the battery live i've noticed is now the same as .122 or pretty much any other OS, for me it's just the charging thing... It's really no good!

But wouldn't that be more reflective of what you have on your phone as opposed to the OS itself? Like let's say it's a conflicting app with the OS that's causing the problem. Who do you blame it on the OS or the app?

Oh... I absolutely agree with you. From all of the reading I've done on here, it seems to be obvious that bugs can be any combination of things... from how an app interacts with an OS... how a theme interacts with an app... anything.

I was just stating that for people who have the same OS and say "that isn't happening to me"... there are reasons why one person's phone would react differently than another. Thank you for clarifying, though...

I am having the same problem. I just logged on from work to look for a solution and found you guys with the same issue. My phone has been plugged in to a wall charger for the last 3-4 hours and still has 0% battery (checked status screen). The green light just keeps flashing and it shut down all radios.

side note: why can't i use radios if the device is plugged in? It does show the lightning bolt on the battery...so it should be charging, but is not.

Plugging the phone in doesn't give it immediate power. The phone actually has to charge for a bit before the radio will come back on. (Plugging the phone in is only charging the battery... not providing power for the phone.)

Thanks. I kinda figured that. I had an older dumb phone (motorola?) that would work if plugged in and no battery. I am home now. the storm is charging off usb power.
