Youtube suddenly stopped working. Please help.

Hi all,

I know this isn't a new problem for some people. Some searching shows me that lots of ppl have lost/had problems with the Google Youtube app. But that was months ago.

The Youtube app had been working perfectly for me up until a couple of days ago. Now, when I use the application, the video will stop at a random point (usually w/in the first 30 seconds, but no later than 2 minute in) and I get an error that the video has been interrupted and must be restarted. (In the past, this NEVER happened. When the video stalled, it would pick back up where it left off after a few seconds.)

I tried going straight to m.youtube.com but to no avail. The same problem happened (It says that an error occurred trying to play the video). I don't understand what happened. More importantly, I don't know how to fix it, especially since it seems that you can't download the app from google anymore.

Last Friday, I had a browsing problem and my carrier's tech support guy had me delete all my service books and then resent them to me. Could that have caused this problem?

Later that day, I downloaded the xenozu youtube player, but hated it. Could my downloading this program affect some settings that are causing my problem? I deleted the program, but reinstalled it to see if it works: It doesn't. Same problem.

Has there been some sort of stealth OTA update that was pushed to my phone that I'm unaware of that is affecting my ability to watch videos?

FWIW, I've pulled the battery and made sure all my permission are set to allow for the google youtube app. I've looked at a bunch of forums but can't find any help.

Can you help me?
