Get comfortable with prefixes and suffixes. My favorite is -ING. You should ALWAYS try and at least try and add an -S or -ED to all your words if it is possible.



Tips for the REALLY DIFFICULT levels:

Don't bother with short words unless it is for bonus points. If you get past level 25 or so, it's a waste of time to go for words that are 5 letters or less. Train yourself to always look for words that at least 7-8letters -- even in the easy rounds.

Weed out letters if you see that are a lot more of them than usual (especially if they are uncommon ones: Q, Z, X, W, etc).

When vowels start becoming very rare, use them wisely. Avoid putting up short words with tons of vowels (like "EATER"). Try not to use up all of the A-E's, leaving yourself with only O-U-I's.

Do not look at the countdown timer, especially when you're near the end of the round. This wastes time and it can also make you lose your focus if you panic.

My gf's gonna be pissed I finally broke her high score. 1507 longest word 9... 102 ppm, best word 86.

5701, it was either level 21 or 22. Best word so far was 12 letters (battleground) for 125 points.

Just got 5518...need to rest now for a while......I can't submit scores either. At first...I didn't want to, but now, maybe...

It took me a lot of games to get this. I have seen my scores increase by focusing on "-ing", "-ed" and "-ly". I try to turn words such as 'standing' into 'outstanding' or even 'outstandingly'. I also use the q's whenever possible; 'quickly', 'quilting', quilters', etc.

I also have tried to get as many vegetables as possible at the end of each season. I haven't ever figured out what the average point bonus is, but I seem to have maxed out at 36...my fingers can't move any faster than that.

8344 is my high...i'm in awe of you guys that eclipse the 10000 mark...btw, I can't submit my score either...says that server is down or something along those lines.

High score is like 4094 I think. Level 17. I always start by looking for words that start with trans. MANY options. Transforming, transformers, transport, transcribe, transpire, transition, transits, transparent, translucent, transaction, etc!

Does anyone find that some real words are not accepted? I have had words like "lout" not taken, and many instances of words that should be capable of being pluralized not recognized.
