Viper SmartStart for 9530

I see that this is now available, but the app doesn't show up correctly on my phone. What I don't get is that it says its available for the Storm 2 9530?

I got it to work fine in landscape mode, it just cuts off in portrait mode now.

I did disable and that allows to show up fine in landscape mode, its all screwy in portrait mode. I don't understand why it is says Storm 2 9530??

Landscape looks fine but portrait is screwed on my 9530. It looks like all it does is turn sideways but doesn't adjust the screen. I need this to work as I already have the alarm and I am going to add the SmartStart module soon.

I downloaded and have the Viper alarm. I paid 400 for the alarm and I'm not going to pay another 200-300 for the module. That's just crazy man. I've already paid enough for the alarm. It does look cool on the phone tho.

Does it show up in portrait mode correctly on your Storm 2?

Nope, I just went ahead and deleted it. I'm sure there will be a fix for it soon tho.

** Instructions for using the app on BlackBerry Storm2 and Storm smartphones:

1. Using the browser on your phone, download the SmartStart app.
2. From the Options icon on your home screen, select "Applications".
3. Highlight Viper SmartStart on the Applications list, and press the menu key.
4. Select "Disable Compatibility Mode".
5. Return to the Home screen, open the SmartStart application (normally located in Downloads folder).
6. Select Settings tab and enter your SmartStart log-in information (horizontal or vertical mode). Press "SAVE".
7. Accept Terms and Conditions by pressing menu key on phone, and selecting "Accept".
8. Orient phone in horizontal mode for full access to SmartStart app functions. Future app releases will also support vertical operation for Storm and Storm2 phones.
