Default Unknown Caller Application

I ran into the Whitepages app that you can use to search for callers or text contact information, then stumbled upon ReverseLookup. Is there an application that will display the callers information during the call?

I've only seen one. It was a subscription-based service, and it would only tell you the name AFTER you answered the call, then hung up. That wasn't useful for me, so I didn't bother remembering the name of the app. You might get lucky googling Reverse Lookup BlackBerry

Poynt can do a reverse lookup but only after the call. I personaly don't know of any that do it during a call.

That's what people need, to see the info before and during the call. Verizon has an app called City ID that comes pre-installed on the Storm2 9550, it's close but not what customers really are looking for. It shows what city the call is from, but doesn't show the caller info. It confuses me that Verizon can implement the feature in my home phone, but doesn't have it on my cellphone.

Would you be willing to pay some small monthly fee for full CallerID service? I'm not sure I would. Everybody that I call or that might have a reason to call me is in my Address Book, so the name shows up when they call. If somebody calls that's not in my Address Book, I generally don't answer. If it's not a wrong number, they can still leave a message.

Jeff, you would be correct with that statement. I'm saying that at the price most people pay for their service a full caller id should be included...I should say it should be available if the customer wants it.
