well I finally got to try out this program and holy cow its cool...i just went down to orlando from middle ga and it actually saved me a few times. it tells you where common speed traps are at, speed cameras, etc. it also has audio alerts...... very nice program

yep....its got built in GPS mapping so it knows exactly where you are

not really. It is a cool app but not even close to a radar detector.
It knows where your at. If other trapster users have reported speed traps, cams, etc in your direction then it alerts you. So if a cop is just driving by doing radar, or in a spot where they normally don't do radar, you're still busted-When the rich wage war, it's the poor who die. - 01-10-2009, 08:48 PM #5
how did u set up audio alerts i couldnt get it to work also the screen kept dimming out and it would follow me on the route but the screen wouldnt move i kept going out of view explain how u got it to work thanks?

You just have to remember you can't always trust the app. Meaning not all cops are on trapster, just if someone else post they are

so the more people know about it, the better!
I dont usually drive fast, but there are some places on the taconic that I forget about, and it will go off, which is good, because I MAY speed if im late for schoolMy PIN

I don't use any gps or nav on the BB, so is trapster independent or will I need to install one or both of the programs?
