Default Translator Application

Hey, I've had my BB Storm for a few weeks and I'm definitely pleased with it, considering my roommate has the BB Curve. I was looking around for different applications, and I realized, I need an application that can help me translate words from English to Spanish and vice versa. Does anyone know a one? Specifically free?

BBTrans, the only one you need. I don't have enough posts to able to give you the link but it'll come up on Google ok.
It will show up as a standalone app on the desktop and as an entry in the Blackberry menu so you can translate email etc...very cool app.

I can definitely recommend BBTrans. I use it for English<>German and it works well.

Another very good option that I use with BBTrans, is Leo.org An exceptionally good translation site, at least it is in german and I would imagine it is also a great tool for spanish as well.

Check out LEO Deutsch-Spanisches Wörterbuch You can also use a PDA version which is what I use as well, simply open up the PDA version on your BB and bookmark the page.

<Edit> Oops. Just realized that Leo.org is primarily a german website with options for other languages WITH german. Hehe...sorry bout that, ignore the leo link, but definitely take a look at BBTrans.

I also recommend Interlecta for mobile translation. I have both a BB and a NOKIA and I have their applications on both phones. I recomment their Text Translator -you can translate all kinds of texts on your scren. I have an email translator on the BB and the Spanish-English-Spanish translation is especially good. I also can't post a link because I am new but if you type Interlecta in google you will find it.

If you use an IM client, there are translator bots available via google. Just IM your phrase and the bot will reply with the translation.

Default Polygotz

I bought Polygotz from the Crackberry App Store. I believe it has 32 languages you can translate between. It also provides audio. I like it so far but I have not tried BBTrans.

Has anyone tried both BBTrans and Polygotz? I'd like to know the differences without testing myself

Well from the way you explain Polygotz the difference would be maybe alittle bit less languages on BBTrans and no audio but BBTrans is free what do you expect.
