swipe work when moving in between messages and in between and in between calender days, also in the calender it works to move between different months when viewing by months.... other than that, i dont know about any other swipe compatibilities but there could definitely be more that i'm just not aware of

I think the OP meant Skype? LOL, I'm confused too. If it's Skype, no, I don't think its compatible.

...it looks like nothing is compatible yet...

Only available on WinMo and Android device for the moment... May be someone will devellope a Third Party app for that, or better, RIM should integrate it in the OS!

My friend showed me how it works on his DROID yesterday, he typed err swyped up a sentence pretty quickly.

no Swype will not work on a 9550 due the the "Push screen" tech. maybe it would work on the Torch 9850/60 but not on the 9550
