Sneaky trick for Doc's to Go

Okay, if you get the free version that comes with your phone, you can't start a new file... Or can you?

Well, simply go to your computer, fire up word... Then, save a blank document. Call it NewDoc or something. Transfer that to your phone and when you need a new doc, you can simply click open, select NewDoc and you have a blank document. Then, save as and you're done. You can do that with all of them, but Word's what I use the most...

I'm using the latest version of D2G and this trick has been working without a hitch for a while for me.

D2G is great for viewing - but I couldn't imagine creating new Word documents with Storm (or any touch screen or keyboard phone), at least nothing more than I'd put in email or text

It's not that bad once you get use to the keyboard and as long as you don't have to do too long of a document. I can type out about a three page paper before my hands start to bother me enough that I have to stop.
