SmrtGaurd not working correctly?

Well, another app not working correctly for me.

The audio ping, is an LED that lights up. I'm not getting any audio, at all. I went through the settings, couldn't find anything for audio in sound profiles or in options. I enabled and disabled compatibility mode, numerous battery pulls, etc. Is there a fix for it? Is my Berry Buzz messing with it?

The "Locate my BB" is out of the area I live in. It says "Within 4300 meters". My house isn't in the bubble.

I can't really figure out what "Lock My Device" is.. I'm assuming it means to lock my BB.. But that isn't working either.

Someone else having these problems?

i had trouble with their service a while ago and after a couple of back and forth emails from their website, they got it fixed. nothing on my end had to be changed, so you may wish to try that. they were quick but i noticed that if you email later in the day don't expect a response until the next day.

Does your phone indicate you're receiving an email to trigger audio ping? The email should be deleted before you even realize you've received it.

You might also try reactivating the program. If you enter a letter iin the wrong case the program wlll accept it but won't work properly.

Smrtguard icon > BB > about SmrtGuard > BB > Reactivate.

SmrtGaurd had me upgrade to a "Preview" version. Where I can E-mail a code to myself for an audio ping. I just get an e-mail, and the "Stop Homing Beacon" pop up, with the LED. I'm going back and forth with SmrtGaurd on e-mails trying things, so I'll keep you guys updated.
