Poynt question

I believe when I would map a location on the previous version of Poynt I had the option to use Google Maps or Blackberry Maps. Now on the update version it appears I have the choice of using Blackberry Maps or VZ Navigator. Am I remembering incorrectly?

Yea, when I GPS a location, it goes straight to BBMaps, I can't for the life of me fig. how to get GMaps pulled up.

I've got version 1.5.3.14. In options and settings, my choices for mapping are BB Maps or Google Maps. What version do you have?

I've got version 1.5.3.14. When I do go to options and setting I also have google and blackberry as choices. Here's the kicker. When I put in a restaurant or such and then try and map route I only get the choice to use BB maps or VZ Navigator.

Have you tried to delete VZ Navigator? Maybe VZW no longer wants you to use Google maps. I am getting the S2 soon and will be downloading Poynt. Will keep you posted if I have the same issue.

in my options,
for "Mapping", I can choose GMM

but for Navigation, the only option I have is "BBMaps"

For MAPPING you can use BB Maps or Google Maps

For ROUTING you can use BB Maps or VZ NAV... Google Maps does NOT work with Poynt's routing function. If you want to find a route with Google Maps you will have to do it by first clicking on MAP LISTING and then, when in Google Maps, click the location and tell it to "GET DIRECTIONS".
