Default Podtrapper setting help

I am trying to figure out some settings. What I am trying to do is to get the podcasts I have to update without downloading automatically. It seems like when i update them, they begin to download - and some I dont want.

I have been playing with the settings but cant figure it out. Anyone know? thanks.

First highlight the podcast you want to edit. Then in the bb menu select "podcast settings". Then set "max to auto-download" to 0. You have to do this for every feed. Then under "settings" "new podcast settings" set "max to auto-download" to 0. Good luck.

Yeah, this was wonky for me too....I have been trying to find a feed for only the AUDIO Official Lost Podcasts and I can't seem to find one. So by setting to 0 for autodownload, I can then pick and choose the audio ones.

But I didn't seem to get the 0 to work, and I think it was due to having added the podcast before setting it to 0.

So I deleted the Lost entry and then set to 0 for new podcasts and then readded the Lost podcast.

Oh wait, wth....now it is starting again....huh?

ETA: Oh I think I figured it out.....it seems like that even though my autodownload is set to 0, since I have a Max Keep of 4, it is trying to get me 4 to start and then hold there.

Here's another question.....

How come if my default sort order is "newest first" sometimes I see older episodes first?
