Patternlock and Autolock

I really like the ability to keep Pattern lock behind the default lock screen. It prevents lockouts while my phone is moving around in my pocket, which has happened quite a few times. I would like for it to do this automatically. I turned off the auto lock on Patternlock, and installed the AutoLock app, hoping this could emulate the hardware lock button, but no such luck. Is there any way to do this?

Nevermind, I figured it out. I set Patternlock to lock after 1 second, and AutoLock to lock after 2. Works like a charm. If anyone knows an easier way, let me know.
