New version of ShortcutMe is released for BlackBerry Storm!

ShortcutMe 3.6 for Storm has following new features:

- Embedded, quick stock market data and portfolio: Double click (or triple/quadruple click) a convenience key to see your stock portfolio and major word stock market indexes. It is very quick. Loads in less than 1.5 seconds.

- Faster 5 days Weather forecast for several cities: Double click (or triple/quadruple click) a convenience key to see 5 days weather forecast for your and other cities. Loads in less than 1.5 seconds.

- "Check for Sofware update" to get info about the latest available version and instruction about how to upgrade to the latest version. Doesn't matter where you have bought ShortcutMe (including App World) you can always update to the latest version from Mobihand and partners.
App World shoppers don't need to wait weeks for getting the latest version of ShortcutMe!

- Shortcut to open MMS page (SMS Page will follow soon)

- Allows sending a shortcut to friends: Help out your friends with setting up their shortcuts in ShortcutMe by sending your shortcut as an example.

Looks like that you have downloaded the trial and can't believe that the upgrading could be as easy as that?

After you download the trial version, if you see your license key in Common Config page and if you can launch at least one of your shortcuts, then you have a fully licensed version.

Here let me ask somthing before I go any further did you give the beta testers for shortcutme free copies after the beta was complete ?

This version (3.6) had 2 alpha testers and 3 beta testers. All of them got free license keys.
Why is that important to you?

YAY...I get so excited whenever I see a new version of ShortcutMe is released You are so awesome with all the updates and support Vijik!

The amount of features you get for $5 is just unreal with this app. I know I've said it before in other threads, but I would pay that just for the BlueTooth Toggle. Being able to double click my left convenience button to turn it on and off makes me so happy that I do it randomly during sometimes

The weather is FASTER now? Ohhhh I can't wait to try...it was already ultra speedy.

Stock market data now too? I love ShortcutMe so much!

You are right. The Store Config. does not store it on uSD card.
Will fix it in next rev. Thanks for finding and reporting it.

Did you try the check for software update (Convkey>BB Key>"Check for Updates")?

What about stock market data (AppName= StocksOverview)?

I am also a heavy user of Bluetooth_toggle feature.

I believe the stock market will be a hot/good place to be very soon. And many BB owners are smart enough to hop in on the train soon.

So now, with this new ShortcutMe feature, they can triple click a convenience key to see their stock portfolio and stock market indexes in less than 2 seconds. (I kept the double click for BT toggling)

Additional features are on the way. As soon as I get 3.6 series out I will work on a very important and useful feature I have been thinking to add since the day one ShortcutMe was born.

Well I was a beta tester for version 3.2 and when I downloaded this new version I only get the trial ???

Mike, I had to go back and check why you did not receive free license key as beta tester. This is what I found:

You did ask to get OTA link for ShortcutMe 3.2 but you never commented, reported bug or suggested a good change to improve. You did not post anything after you got the OTA link.

That is why you did not get a free license while other beta testers who contributed did got theirs.

If you don't agree and think it is unfair send me email (support at fonware dot ca). Depending on your argumentation I might give you a free license key after all.
