For the first time in recorded memory, I lost my reg. code for Stormlock, which is working fine in V1.0. Normally I save codes in a file, but must not have done so with Stormlock. I don't want to install the new one w/o the code, but can't find it referenced anywhere in my Storm. Anyone know where to look, before I send a request and wait for days? (They did say they may take a while looking for codes to re-send). Thanks for any help.

To you have the e-mail in your trash? I forgot to save mine as well, but luckily I only delete my trash once in a while, so I was able to find it there.

Sadly, I had deleted the trash file. I tried the trash recovery method of corrupting the file and rehabilitating it, but no luck so far. I've emailed zaventh, but it may take a while. No great loss, the improvements aren't that big and it's working pretty well now. But I'd like to update it AND get the reg. code back so I can save it.

I've noticed when the phone is locked and you receive a call StormLock doesnt work and there is no option under bb menu to open it while your talking on the phone.

OK I just tested a call WITHOUT storm lock and the back light goes off aftr 30 seconds or so on the call and after a minute or so, the whole screen turns off.

someone said the backlight never goes off with stormlock in this thread? can someone confirm this 100%??? If that is true, thats a major issue because it will drain the battery really bad having the screen on during a call, especially a long call. the screen uses the most battery life on the phone and to have it AND the radio going at full time, will really kill the battery.

Its not a StormLock issue, its a BlackBerry issue that causes this. BlackBerrys do not allow applications to engage when the phone is locked. TalkLock has the same issue.

Zaventh, your website is brilliant! LOL to the Lost numbers.

a very funny website indeed!

anyone who has used this for a while now, what are you seeing as far as memory usage, etc. any issues after a few days? 3rd party apps that run for a few days can be problematic.

every few days?? I dont let any app run for days, hehehehe
I reboot my phone with (soft reset) or physical battery pull like every other day to keep Stormy running at lightning speeds ... doesn't everybody?

hmmm then again i do have lots of apps:

Aerize alerts
BBNotePad (way better than regular notes)
BBTran (Translation app)
box.net (launcher)
Crackberry Launcher
Foreign Clock app (displays 4 clocks (diff cities in diff timezones on 1 screen)
Facebook
FileLock (lets you password protect files on BB)
Flicker Upload App
GMAIL app
Google Maps
IM+ (multi platform instant messanger)
iSkoot (its like mobile Skype)
itookthisonmyphone Upload App (instantly upload pics and vids can autosend public folder to youtube, flickr, snapfish, picasa, facebook, and Webshots)

launchpads (customized shortcuts)
MessageScheduler (lets you set a "send" time for future emails)
Nametag (silly app custom created by fellow crackberry member)
OperaMini
PodTrapper (for my podcast needs)
SharkModem (tether my Netbook using my Storm)
Slydial
Snapscreen (for ScreenShots)
SoftReset
Spotjots (for mobile blogging)
TapOMania
Twitterberry
viigo
VisualArts
Vlingo
YouTube app

hmmmmmm can you tell I totally abused my Pearl before i had my wonderful 1gig of onboard memory on my Storm. hehehehhe

Just purchased this app. Received the OTA email and had it installed in less than 5 minutes. Very clean and easy to use. And, like others have mentioned and was my big concern, the screen will dim and go off during a call which makes it well worth the $1.95.
