need a program that only allows wife to call phone

I travel all the time and have wierd hours of sleep. I need a program that will only allow a few people to call. We are having a baby soon so I really need this. Any help?

Not trying to be a smarta$$ here, but I travel a lot as well & if sleep was a concern, why not give your wife your hotel infomation (i.e. hotel name, telephone & room number) & turn your phone off when you sleep?

Creating Specific Profiles:

Click profiles Icon> Custom Profiles> Add Custom Profile> Name it> Set Alerts Accordingly> Save Profile> Activate it.

Assigning Specific Rings to Specific Contacts:

Click Green/Answer Button> Hit Contacts> Scroll to Desired Contact> Hit BlackBerry Button> Edit> Scroll to "Custom Ring Tones/Alerts"> Assign accordingly

Making Only A Few Alerts ON While Rest are OFF:

Creat a new profile> Make all Silent> Select Specific People> Set Ring Tone/Alert accordingly.

I find the sound profiles one of the most difficult settings of my entire BlackBerry. So tinker around with the directions above and get it set up to what you want. This will work thou, it just takes some screwing around for me to ever set them up. Hope it works out for you! congrats on the kid too!

You forgot to mention making sure to set the volume on his wifes contact, if thats not changed then the phone wont ring still becasue it will be set to active profile.

On one hand I can see this as very benefical to Pilots, frequent travelers and the liek, on the other hand I also can see it being abused by philanderers who can set a different profile while at home so their mistresses don't raise any alarms with their wife

Isn't one of the issues going to be that his wifes call will always ring through.... Even if he is at a meeting or busy? Probably not much of a problem for him, but it would be for others who need quiet at certain times.

you have to manually change the profile for where you are so this doesnt happen.

or you can even buy a program that changes your profile by using your gps coords. blackberrys are great!
