Default Need Alarm sound on, but phone off
Is there an app that will allow the Alarm sound to work, but mute the phone when it rings? Thanks in advance...

Just set your Sound Alert Profile to Silent or Vibrate and set the Alarm. The phone and other alerts will be muted but the alarm will still sound.
