Default LED Reset Great for VVM Users

http://ota.rimgeeks.com/download/2/

LED Reset does exactly what it says. It resets the LED and stops it from blinking with the push of the button. This is great for those of us with Visual Vioicemail who's LED does not stop blinking even after you check your VM. The above link is the OTA DL.

I agree, my LED takes forever to turn off after getting a VVM. This program fixes that.

I never had phantom LED blinking before i downloaded the newest version of IM+. Once i did that two days ago, an hour after i turn the app on it starts, phantom LED blinking, check all msgs, settings in every program, nothing is wrong or stopping it. I had to do 3 batt pulls that night, just cause that was all that stopped the blinking.

I check CB as a last resort, and sure enough this App was just posted in the Blogs. Damn. Perfect luck. It works perfectly. I love it. Couldn't be happier. And best of all...it's only 5 KB in size, yes FIVE KB. That is NOTHING

We shouldnt have to have an app to do what vvm should do in the first place.

It is a free application. Has no discernable memory leak issues. the LED Reset program uses a similiar icon to the Phones Reset program which is used to turn the phone off.

I'm just wondering if we need both or can we hide the Reset icon?

That is up to you. Just note that they perform 2 completely different tasks. One powers down the phone and one simply resets the LED light so it will stop blinking.

Depends on how you have set your phone up and organized our icons and folders. The one he is talking about is titled "Turn Power Off."

that particular Reset program is something you either installed or was removed because you installed a hybrid OS but the icon placeholder is still there. And since it has no unique icon there is no way of telling what it is.
