Default IRC clients that are not jmirc that work?

I've tried wiping the storm completely and reloading .328, but I still get an invalid URL parameter error when trying to use midpssh and jmirc on the storm.

With the droid out I am considering selling the storm just to get IRC on the phone again. It worked under 4.7.*

Are there any other in development IRC clients that work on the storm?

I have the Tour here and I'm had the same problem. I think it has to do with these devices being world phones and it trying to connect over a non-existent APN.

Anyways, the way I got midpssh to work was to set it to TCP/IP mode (I forgot how off hand, but I'll double check in a moment). For jmIRC, I had to use an http proxy to get it to work (it sucks, I know..but something is better than nothing).

Cheers,
Nick

I've yet to find any free HTTP proxies that work.

Still an epic fail for IRC on the storm.

Hey guys, I had an issue where IRC stopped working about a month or so ago after working fine for months. A solution has been found and while I am on a UK carrier and have an 8900 and not a Storm perhaps it is worth a try for some?

IRC has stopped working on Orange UK, anyone else?
