Help w/ Google Maps

Is there any way to make it so my Google maps display is always pointing up? In other words, if I am driving south I don't want my arrow to be moving to th bottom of the display, I want it to move toward the top of the display.

Do not believe this is possible (right now at least).

If you click the "blue dot" down in the lower right corner so that it focuses on your current location the arrow will always be in the middle of the screen and the map will move as necessary. That's all I can think of to help with your situation.

Is there anyway of installing Google Maps into our phones with a file?

I don't have a Data Plan yet so I can't browse to a link and download it...

If there is it won't help you any because the map sections are downloaded to your BB on an "as needed" basis.
