Gmail issue got email telling me password not valid

I did a search, but nothing came up with this particular problem. This is the second time this occurred this week. I received an email on my Blackberry Storm saying my gmail password is not valid and I cannot receive emails from my Gmail account, I need to update it through Email setup.

So I went to BIS and where my gmail account was listed, there was a red X by it. I attempted to re-input my password, but it would not take.

So I went to my gmail account directly, put my email and password in, had to verify everything, and it went through.....

Went back into BIS updated it, 10 minutes later all my missed emails came through.

Is this a Gmail problem, a Blackberry problem? Anyone else having this issue? If it didn't happen Monday and then today I wouldn't be as concerned.

Have you tried deleting the email and then putting it back again? Sometime it works. Let me know.

How often are you re-sending service books? At least once a month is best.

Im going to try deleting and re-doing it. I dont think it had anything to do with resending service books.....it acted like I put the wrong password in which I didn't

Are you sure you are putting in the correct username? I can't remember which one is right, but try just putting your username without "@gmail.com" and see if that works. If you have already done that then try your username as "[yourname]@gmail.com". Deleting the account and re-doing is another option.

Definitely putting in the right username, I have 2 email accounts in there, and I could log into the BIS with no problem. the 2nd email address is unaffected with the whole thing.

You are effed then. Just delete the account and start over.

Had same problem. I erased the Gmail info from my BB and basically re-set the password, including unlocking it on the Captcha page. I then re-added the Gmail account to my BB and problem solved.
