That's what I did too, although I only knew about verizon's @vtext.com thing. I had hoped to find a similar version for ATT, but when I asked in the store they said it didn't exist. Glad to see their CR's are just as incompetent as Verizon's.

Does it actually look like an email? Would I know I was replying to an SMS message though? The way I write changes drastically when I'm emailing and texting. I'd had to reply to an email with "C u soon @Sbux" as the whole body of the email lol

I know this is not what the OP questioned but still on a similar topic, if you go the Google Voice route you can't send or receive pics with it....aka MMS, so youll have to give out two numbers to friends who want to send you pics. Kinda defeats the purpose but still good for straight txting. Just an FYI

I thought of this as well. Wish they give this option somehow.

can you reply to the email texts you get? I keep getting mail delivery failures when i try to do a reply. Do i have to change the reply to address to #@vtext.com?

I couldn't find the answer on the website but how much is it for sending text messages within Canada. I'm just trying to find a cheaper alternative to my texting plan from my carrier.

Thanks

The offer is still valid. If you like it, don’t be shy to inform your friends about.
