So out on the course today my buddy whips out hes new golfing gps which is pretty awsome...so it got me thinking instead of paying $400 for a one function device...anyone use there blackberry for it....I found this: IntelliGolf Eagle Edition for the Blackberry

I read somewhere that the GPS function would not work with the Verizon phones. Can anybody confirm this?

GPS does work with the storm. Google Latitude, BB maps, Where. All use GPS function on the storm.

Ya I can confirm that the GPS works AWESOME on the Storm...

No IDEA where you heard this...

The GPS was disabled for Google Maps... but it's been allowed to be on now for quite some time...

I have Greenfinder which costs a one time charge.

I also have BBGPSGolf which is free (minus the much deserved donation) and I prefer BBGPSGolf...works amazing!!!
