Crackberry Mobile Launcher with notifications?

Is there anyway possible to make a CB icon launcher that would push/show notifications on your device when something new is posted to the blogs on crackberry? Yes, I'm a CB junkie, and I'm always waiting for the next new post on CB. It would be even nicer if the app could be made where you could customize the notifications; blogs, preffered forums, etc.

hehe... this seems interesting, considering new CB posts are about every second!! Or are you looking for notifications to only threads you subscribe to - if that's the case, it would be useful.

howarmat, not to familiar with rss feeds. How does that work?

lcsglvr, not threads you subscribe to, but the blogs (items posted on cb home page), and like a certain forums (3rd party forums for a specific device), only the initial thread starting post though, then if you decide you could subscribe and recieve via email.

its a 'feed' that you can subscribe to. Many website can then email an rss feed to you.

I was thinking about just a new PM. I subscribe to threads and follow CB on twitter so I get BLOG allerts.

Thanks. Already have but don't like the fact that there are no notify actions unless u have running in the background all the time. Plus if u do have it run and u don't know it tried to notify u with a tone, u won't no because of the lack of an indicator.
Plus I think it has a lot of feeds that I don't need. Wish there was a better engadget mobile app or launcher for the s1. Would probably just remove if I had that now along with the rss feed push thru my email.
