Patternlock is better coded.
Berryslider is more for iphone fans but has a few minor issues.
Either one is a good choice.

Only issue I've had with Pattern lock is when I go out at night, say a bar or lounge. if the room gets too stuffy, its like virtually impossible to swipe your finger

It all really boils down to what you would like to do.

Swipe a pattern or swipe to unlock?

personally I just installed PatternLock... really enjoying it.
But yeah... either way you have to swipe... so cant really lose either way.

True words right here, I have both. If someone can somehow bypass my berryslider's unlock code, I wish them well on trying to bypass my patternlock.

I think you can use the top lock key with the pattern lock which would be nice.

You've got to ask yourself, how often do you really NEED to use pattern lock? I find it more annoying than anything.

If I really wanna lock down my phone I'll just password protect it..
