BBSAK v. 1.6

The new version of BBSAK (1.6). is out. Any reports so far?
I spent a few minutes trying to run the installer exe without success (and then ran out of time).
It claimed the installation was succesful but it is not to be found anywhere on the computer...
Any help would be appreciated

I start the installer and I get a pop up box that says that the feature I am trying to use is on a network drive that is unaccessible. It appears to be looking for "BBSAKv1.2_installer.msi" which is nowhere on my computer. Since I can't point it to that file it just shuts down. I've cleaned everything off my computer that relates to BBSAK and it still wont load. Any suggestions?

For those who are having a similar problem in installation I described a couple of posts above:
After running the install exe, if the program doesn't create a desktop icon, as was happening in my case, simply look in
C:\Program Files\BBSAK. The program components, including the desktop icon, are there....

I am sorry to ask this ant not new to BB but have never had the need for using BBSAK for any reason yet(good for me)

Can someone please tell me what remove or install or what "CODS" are to begin with.

Wow, 1.4, 1.5, now 1.6, and all of them still have a connection issue. It sure would be nice to try this program one of these days. I don't have any issue with DM or other BB software connecting, what is up with this progam?

FYI, running Window Vista Home Premium Edition if anyone can help. Every time the program loads I get the "User Account Control" window popup and have to "Allow" the program to run (yes I am running as the administrator).

I used to run Vista and had no problems once I figured out the connection issues. From a non connected state, make sure when you first plug your BB in that neither DM or any RIM software is running. Plug it in and if the password screen pops up for DM or apploader ignore and close this. Then open BBSAK. I always had to "Run as Administrator" even though I only had one account on my computer. Should work.

1. Connect Storm to computer with USB.
2. Computer recognizes Storm (icon in sys tray).
3. ProgFiles/BBSAK.App right click, run as admin
4. User Acct Control ... Allow
5. Asks for PW (none click ok), no device connected, click ok
6. Program start but will not connect.
