Question BB9550 Unable inaccurate street address

VZW BB Storm2 9550 Unable to tap or click on screen and get exact or accurate street address any longer. Report abuse

Device:BlackBerry Storm2 9550Carrier:Verizon Wireless
Country / Language:USA/English or French
OS / Browser / build number (if applicable):5.0.01015 (Bundle 1656 Platform 4.2.0.442)
Google Maps 4.5.2
Verizon Blackberry touch screen Storm2 9550 V. 5.0.0.1015

Blackberry Browser as default browser and default MDS browser

Flashing Blue My Location GPS indicator is on exact location sometimes within 3 to 2 meters

but no longer able to click or tap screen and get the accurate or exact street address such as "100 Main Street "

Whether in triangulation or GPS mode, I’m unable to “star” a location by tapping or clicking on the screen.

Street view gives an address that is within a block or two and it doesn’t matter where on the screen one clicks or taps.

Get a clear error message: “Unable to get address”

Have to go to search enter exact address I already know to find it on map.

GPS is quick and works great. Uninstalled and reinstalled all Google apps dozens of times including Google voice application.

This used to work till I upgraded to 4.5.2

Please help me or let me know I’m not the only person experiencing this …maybe this great function is taken away “by design”.
