Auto reset not working

I had this problem before and found the solution, but couldnt find it again by searching:

I use meterberry to auto reset. but now it says it cant reset because another application is set up or a reset request was denied or something like that.

I have Quicklaunch which is not set up to reset. I also run berryweather, berrypopup and pattern lock and have checked those, but see nothing. And they have been on there along time anyway so dont think it is them. I dont have any other apps with the reset options.....

Like I said, this happened a long time ago, but cant remember how I fixed it. Thanks.

I've continually had issues on my Storm 2 9550 with this myself since upgrading to QL3. Sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't. I've tried every fix under the sun and some fixes do work for a while but then it gets screwed up again. I've uninstalled, reinstalled tried different modes etc to no avail.

Here's what CheetahAce says to fix this issue:

1) Delete apps called Reset and/or Reset2
2) Don't reboot
3) Set all permissions to "Deny"
4) Save
5) Don't reboot.
6) Set all permissions to "Allow"
7) Save
8) Pull the battery

I think I'm going to have to use another app though because I can't get it to work consistently no matter what I try. I don't want to but what else can I do. Maybe you'll have better results than I have had.

If anyone reading this can shed some light on this I'd very much appreciate it. I love QuickLaunch, but this little reset script isn't working.

Actually, I'm talking about Quicklaunch and not meterberry. I've tried meterberry before as well with little luck but my previous post is speaking to my troubles with the reset function in Quicklaunch.

This is what I keep getting. I have both QL and Meterberry's reset features turned off. I have no idea what could be requesting a reboot.....
