    Default AP Mobile News questions

How do you get the tabs to update to today's stories? And how do you get rid of tabs you don't want? Yesterday, all tabs except one had stories dated several days ago. So I went into Settings>Download and changed the automatic update setting from "Off" to 60 minutes. Today, most tabs show yesterday's stories, but some still are several days old. A related question: does having it update automatically mean it's running all the time, even when I close it? Battery drain issues? I wonder because the setting for "close" says that you are only moving it to the background and that you have to "turn off" to actually shut it down. Help and advice appreciated.

Regarding my earlier post about AP Mobile News not updating, I figured it out. You just have to give it some time to update. So I guess when you close it and it goes to the background, it doesn't update and drain the battery. Apparently, it doesn't update until you open the application.
