Posted from my CrackBerry at wapforums.crackberry.com | I am glad to hear you are ok. I hope you do not have any other damage or outages.
Sprint has information here: Quote:
August 29, 2011 - Due to the loss of commercial power and local wireline outages resulting from Hurricane Irene, Sprint customers in the following states - CT, DC, DE, MA, MD, NC, NH, NJ, NY, PA, RI, VA - may be experiencing a temporary disruption in their wireless service. While there are impediments due to excessive flooding, and downed trees and power lines, Sprint engineers and technicians have been working aggressively since Sunday to restore service to the impacted sites by refueling generators, clearing debris and making repairs in areas that are accessible and safe to travel.
We ask that customers be patient as we work to rapidly restore service to impacted cell sites in these areas. Please continue to check this page for further updates regarding the storm’s impact, Sprint restoration and recovery efforts, and Sprint retail store closures.
