How do we know when the conditional call forwarding on our account has been enabled?

Your voice messages pop up like your emails do, each individually, and you can re arrange or delete them.

This is all done independently from your normal voicemail from Sprint, which you probably would use anymore.

This is one of the few services the the iPhone has that I wish I had.

If you search the blogs, you'll find a full description of both YouMail and PhoneTag.

Hey there is a free translation service via google, correct? how does this work? I have youmail and it will not translate any vm's. there is a way to do this free, correct w/o signing up for youmail's $6.99 charge?

Ummmm...I have YouMail on my BB 8330 and I dont pay $.20 extra per forward for voicemail. I didn't even call Sprint CS to have them add forwarding. I just installed the program and entered their code to forward and I was good to go. Whats all the fuss about?

Shortly after this thread was started, Sprint changed their forwarding rules to allow Conditional forwarding to be free. Many users complained about not being able to user services such as Google Voice, YouMail, and a slew of other Visual Voice mail services. I don't remember the exact date this changed, but it was very welcome news.

Verizon has this service for an additional fee. You can pick and choose the voice mails to listen to vs having to listen to them in the order received.

I don't get that many voice mail messages but if you did this would be a nice feature.

For the people who loaded 6.0 on your Bold 9650, I noticed that the Visual voice mail app is now on the phone. I have not used it being that I utilize youmail and I've grown to live it. Have anyone with a sprint bold tried the visual VM?

Again, Sprint doesn't support visual voicemail yet.

Default Sprint has free call forwarding. Read!

This article is directly from the help articles on Sprint.com, read and it clearly states that there are three free forms of call forwarding, and one that is not. If you need the one that is not free, you should be paying for it.

Using Call Forwarding on Your Sprint Phone

Last Updated: Aug 18, 2010

Your Sprint phone offers different ways for you to forward your calls from your phone to another number - unconditional for when you want all calls to forward, and conditional for when you want to pick and choose which types of calls get forwarded.

Unconditional Call Forwarding - forwards all calls and incoming calls not received and is charged at $0.20 per minute unless you're on an UNLIMITED Simply Everything plan

* To activate Unconditional Call Forwarding:
o Press *72
o Enter the 10-digit phone number to forward the calls to
o Press Talk
o Listen for the alert tones that tell you Call Forwarding is turned on
* To deactivate Unconditional Call Forwarding:
o Press *720
o Press Talk
o Listen for the alert tones that tell you Call Forwarding is turned off

Conditional Call Forwarding - offers different types of forwarding options, based on when you want the calls to forward or not forward and is free for all active Sprint customers

* No Answer and Busy - forwards calls to an alternate number when not answered or when the line is busy
o To activate No Answer/Busy Call Forwarding:
+ Enter *28
+ Enter the 10-digit phone number to forward the calls to
+ Press Talk
+ Listen for the alert tones that tell you Call Forwarding is activated
o To deactivate No Answer/Busy Call Forwarding:
+ Enter *38
+ Press Talk
+ Listen for the alert tones that tell you Call Forwarding is deactivated
* No Answer - forwards calls to an alternate number when not answered or when you press the End key on your phone; all calls that are not answered after 23 seconds will be routed to the alternate number
o To activate No Answer Call Forwarding:
+ Enter *73
+ Enter the 10-digit phone number to forward the calls to
+ Press Talk
+ Listen for the alert tones that tell you Call Forwarding is activated
o To deactivate No Answer Call Forwarding:
+ Enter *730
+ Press Talk
+ Listen for the alert tones that tell you Call Forwarding is deactivated
* Busy - forwards calls to an alternate number when your line is busy
o To activate Busy Call Forwarding:
+ Enter *74
+ Enter the 10-digit phone number to forward the calls to
+ Press Talk
+ Listen for the alert tones that tell you Call Forwarding is activated
o To deactivate Busy Call Forwarding:
+ Enter *740
+ Press Talk
+ Listen for the alert tones that tell you Call Forwarding is deactivated

Did anyone read the new features of the BB Onyx (Style)? Visual Voicemail is listed as one of the features for this phone. Does this mean that Sprint will offer this for BB users? Does anyone know?
