Default Sprint Slowdown due to iPhone?

I'm getting horribly slow speeds on my 9930
This started about the time on the iPhone launch
I'm getting about 1/3rd - 1/4th the speed I used to
My question to the CrackBerry Community is:
Is anyone else experiencing this slow down?
Is there anything we can do?

Have a sprint 9930 in the house and have been getting dropped calls like mad (daily). Nearly impossible for a user to tell if it's related to new iphone activations or just coverage problems in general though...

It isn't the iphone that has things slow. It is sprint themselves.

Their network has been getting slower in certain areas longer than the iPhone has been on Sprint.

Ahh ok, I wouldn't say slower as I would say non existent. Sprint lost a lot of their 3G footprint when vz sold the altell towers to att. Hopefully we will see them spike back up. I am patient and I know it will take some time but for now my sprint service hasn't changed for the better or worse.

i seriously doubt the iphone will make any dent in the service levels... this is not att and its not 2007

to put it into perspective, in 2007 att had a 3g footprint about the size of sprints current 4g.. ie not big at all..130 markets or so..

But you know that iPhone probably has an effect on the network.
I mean look at it this way, Sprint probably just gained over a million smartphone subscribers. The phone that they got is a data guzzling machine and all users will be effected with slower calls and whatnot. Depending on where you live and the type of the people living near you, you will be effected.
