I'm assuming you mean The wifi hotspot feature new in 7.1. Its 29.99 in addition to your existing data plan on sprint

Actually the WiFi hot spot feature is not unlimited you have a 5GB cap. So IMHO your going to give up a faster 3G/4G service to come to sprint paying 29.99 a month for a slower connection.....

Exactly, you will gain more features like free navigation but you lose out on coverage and the call and surf ability. I know most sprint people average 1.5-3mbps down, a H+ iphone will reach 14.1.
