Default Sprint Nextel Blackberry

Was told last night by Sprint there for sure be a new Blackberry out to replace the 7100i by December at the latest or as early as October. The phone will be on 100% Sprint network I was told.

CANT COME SOON ENOUGH!!! 7100i is old technology.

What has everyone esle heard?

Kinda the same, however we were told the same last year and the year before that. Seems to be alot more scuttle about this year though. As with anything with Sprint/nextel I never really believe too much till I see it up close!!! Being a customer I'm sure you would agree!!

yes there will be a new one at the end of the year some time in Q4 now which one it is i dont know because i know its been reported on here that its a 8350 but ive been told that its going to be a 9000 model soooo take your pick lol

I will be glad when something new comes out, I have had this one for two years, it's definitely time for an upgrade. When I talked to someone from Nextel last week, they also said a new phone would be coming out. I don't even use the PTT, but since you have to have it, it's okay with me. Just give me something new and up to date please. lol

I first heard of the 8350 when I walked into my Sprint store this past week. The rep I always deal with who got me "hooked" on the BB's, we were talking about the Bold and the Storm. This is when he let me know about the 8350. According to him, this phone will look just like the curve, yes it will have push talk, wifi, camera, and 4G network! Stated the release is set for November!

According to the Sprint roadmap that was on this site a few weeks ago the 8350 will not be PTT on Sprints network. It is strictly an iDEN network device
