| | **RUMORED**Sprint to launch BlackBerry Bold Touch and Monaco Q3
I Don't know who knows this but I just found out that Sprint will release The Bold Touch aswell as the "Monaco" in the third quarter!!. Also, being added to the 3rd quarter roster of phones is another NEW Blackberry model phone that will feature PTT(Push-To-Talk)

There's already images showing the BlackBerry Bold Touch for Aug this year. That news has been out a few weeks. Sprint anticipating PTT service on the Sprint CDMA network sometime in Q4, last I saw said Oct-Nov.

I see.. All news to me, but atleast its good news. The new PTT model is supposed to be released Q3. Still, its just a rumor but its evidence that Sprint should have a decent lineup of Blackberrys to choose from by year end

So that's what they're working on now.

Im just stoked sprint is finaly getting top of the market blackberry's. They have always seemd one step behind. while everyone else had the bold they had the tour, everyone else got an 85xx curve then sprint got one. all while the other carriers have gotten the storms, and torch, and better versions of the bold (with the exception of current). Im very excited. was debating upgrading to the evo 3d, till i did some research, bc i rly didnt wanna leave blackberry. i know id regret it.

I think it was only like 7-7.5 hrs of talk time which wouldn't be bad if all you used it for was to talk. If you use all the features that the phone has to offer which is the main reason people will buy the phone, you might be lucky to get 5 hours before needing a charge.

Not sure if I should go for these new BB phones or wait for QNX next year. A tough decision for me.

Yea, me too. I'm undecided as well. Even though I've been waiting on RIM to release a phone like the 9900 what seems like forever.....now that I have a large touch screen in the PlayBook and the uncertain future of RIM, I'm confused on which direction I want to go. I wonder if the QNX phones will live up to the "HYPE" like the PlayBook did (NOT) |

I wonder if will get the 9930 first. Sprint had the 9650 approx two weeks before any other carrier. I wonder if that will happen again

So the new Blackberry Torch (Monaco 9850?) will be an all touch-screen blackberry and it will NOT have the slider format of the original Torch, correct?

Yes think of it as pretty much the Storm 3 without the clickscreen
