Default Sprint contract renewal incentives?

Anyone have any recent experience renewing their contract? I am due for renewal and last time, 2 years ago, I received $70 per line (x4). I am curious to know whats being offered now. Thanks.

Same, renewed about a month ago and was offered the 70.00 credit. Get the credit before you use your upgrade.

I just renewed two lines for 140 dollars credit. It will not effect upgrade dates, so do it before you upgrade.

Yup. I'm waiting for a new BB, to renew my line, but as far as I've read on here and SU, the $70 credit is definitely still available.

I actually had recently over the last few months renewed three of my five lines and just forgot to call about the 70 dollar credit per line. I called yesterday and they did credit my account $210.00 it took awhile to get past the original customer service rep who kept telling me that the 70 per line is an option if I do not want to take the upgrade renewal discount price of the phone. After I was able to get to the account services it was not a problem and they credited me.

That sounds like a good plan to avoid the extra $10 monthly towards my plan. So I guess if I buy the phone at full price (or craigslist) and not upgrade my plan I stay grandfathered.

I was thinking along those lines, too, before I renewed, but I arrived at a different conclusion. I decided I still had an option while in a contract. There's always the option to pay the etf to get out. Anyway I probably wouldn't want out. I also realized there really weren't too many options available when comparing other plans to the value I get from the one I'm on. Furthermore, it made too much sense to get the $70 renewal credit -- I was going to keep paying anyway -- so why not reduce that month's bill and also get a great new phone almost for free? Well, that's how it went for me this time around, but I wasn't anxiously waiting for new releases when it came to devices either ...

I spoke to them this mourning to make sure 100.00 3D credit promised would be applied to next bill. Rep let me know everything was in order Then she made my day giving me extra 350 min a month on my everything 450 plan with no contract extension
Sprint rocks !

After discounts my monthly bill comes to 62.00.
No carrier comes close to such deal.
