a little social engenering can go a long way. | Man, I tried your plan and it was still like pulling teeth to get the code. I think one guy even hung-up on me when I backed him into a corne of logic, haha. The techs kept telling me that there is no such thing as a service menu or SPC number on my old BB 8530. Finally the 4th tech I talked to told me that because the phone is no longer active on the network, he cannot access it to get the SPC and I would have to call RIM! I think I am going to activate the BB on my line, and then call from my home phone and have them get it for me. Man what a hassle! I will keep you posted!
