You don't need the SPC or anything like that to put a Sprint BB on Boost...

call tech support from the phone, tell them the 'GPS is acting up/not working and you have some one helping you sort it out and you need the SPF or SPX or SPC code not sure what you call it' its SPC i know but play dumb if they try to help with the GPS issue tell them you've tried it allready, no matter what they ask u to do.

Man, I tried your plan and it was still like pulling teeth to get the code. I think one guy even hung-up on me when I backed him into a corne of logic, haha. The techs kept telling me that there is no such thing as a service menu or SPC number on my old BB 8530. Finally the 4th tech I talked to told me that because the phone is no longer active on the network, he cannot access it to get the SPC and I would have to call RIM! I think I am going to activate the BB on my line, and then call from my home phone and have them get it for me. Man what a hassle! I will keep you posted!

no spam, no hoax, need only your BB usb cable and some tools...follow the instruction and hopefully it help...

it may works on other cdma phone...but i'm not sure on what state the phone will react with the tools...while in BB we need to be on white blank screen with " no application linked "

I used Unix CDMAmake getting SPC code to BB 8830m WE but I can't. otherwise i was looking for version4.2 for BB 8830m on website for Sprint but there aren't any.
